Alice Casarini is a literary, interactive, and audiovisual translator (tie-in, essays, subtitles, making-of volumes and press books). She graduated in Foreign Languages and Literature, she attended a master’s degree and a Ph.D. in audiovisual translation (University of Bologna,2014). She deals with video game localization as a translator and scholar, she published numerous academic articles about audiovisual translation, and she taught English to Italian translation at the Faculty of Translation and Interpreting of the University in Bologna (Forlì) and SSML Carlo Bo in Bologna. She also translated for Mondadori Ragazzi a dozen texts related to Minecraft (novels, sticker books, graphic novels and the Mobestiary)
